PondOps Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

PondOps is an internal publishing and content-management tool used by Pond Academy to manage content published to its social media accounts.

PondOps may connect to Meta services, including Facebook, through Meta’s APIs. When connected, PondOps may access information required to manage the Pond Academy Facebook Page, including Page information, published posts, comments, engagement data, and performance metrics made available through Meta’s APIs.

PondOps uses this information only to:

  • Publish content to Pond Academy social media accounts
  • Manage published posts and comments
  • Track the performance of published content
  • Maintain a history of Pond Academy social media publications

PondOps does not sell Facebook or Meta data to third parties.

Access tokens and other credentials used to connect PondOps to Meta are stored securely and are not displayed publicly.

Information collected through Meta’s APIs may be retained as needed to maintain Pond Academy’s publishing history, analyze content performance, and operate PondOps.

Read-only Growth Analytics

PondOps also provides private business reporting for the Pond Academy account owner. When authorized by the owner, it may retrieve the Pond Academy Pinterest account’s Pins, destination links, impressions, engagement, and outbound clicks using read-only Pinterest API permissions. This connection does not create, edit, or publish Pins.

These records are used to compare Pond Academy content performance and retained as dated analytics for historical reporting. The owner may also connect private Google analytics and search reports and import official revenue reports. Provider credentials are stored securely and are not included in analytics responses.

The owner can authorize a read-only ChatGPT connection to request these business reports. Reports requested through that connection are shared with OpenAI for the owner’s analysis. Growth reports do not expose newsletter subscriber email addresses. These business reports are not publicly accessible, and PondOps does not sell connected provider data.

The owner can revoke a connected provider’s authorization through that provider. To request deletion of retained Growth data, use the contact address below.
